Frequently asked questions

Am I good enough to come? +
Two fears keep skiers home: "I'm not good enough" and "I'll be the worst one there". Both are almost always wrong. The level system spans complete freestyle beginner (Lv 0) through to advanced (Lv 4). Pick the camp where your base ski skill matches; the freestyle skill is what we teach.
I'm coming solo. Will I be the only one? +
≈ 92% of campers travel solo. The camp is built around it — shared dinners, group dinners on Wednesday, shared chairlifts. Bringing a non-skiing partner is actively discouraged because they'll be alone all day.
What happens if there's bad weather? +
Hintertux's glacier is rarely fully closed in November, but in case of severe weather we run indoor video-review, trick theory, and dryland trampoline / box practice. No partial refunds for weather; the season pass commitment with the resort doesn't allow them.
Can I rent skis at the resort? +
Yes. Sport 2000 Hintertux is the on-site shop; full freestyle package is ~CHF 230 per week and they'll fit you on arrival. We'll send a pre-booking link in the welcome email.
How do I get there? +
Fly Innsbruck (INN, 1h drive) or Munich (MUC, 2h). Train: Jenbach → Mayrhofen → bus to Tux. We'll send a full travel guide post-booking and there's a WhatsApp group from week 5 to coordinate shared transfers.
Are payments secure? What methods? +
Shopify checkout (PCI-DSS Level 1). Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, USDC. Payment plans available on request for camps > CHF 3,000.
